Although geodeTic is not wrong, geodeSic is far more common in English, as it relates directly to the science of Earth measurement, known as geodesy (with an 's').

I understand that if the geodetic coordinates are being assigned (assegnazione), the correct, in English, is "TO the nodes". You assign to, you do not assign at, in this case, unless the context be something like to assign the node coordinates (or the coordinates at the node) to something else, in which case it could be "at" but then, I'd need to know the context better. But the context given pretty much tells me that it has to be "TO", not "at".
