: it really means lungs and mediastinum - the only equivalent adjectival form in English is "thoracic" or "intrathoracic" - your link is not really relevant since it refers to the pulmonary arteries situated in the mediastinum

"Mediastinum" refers to a group of structures in the chest and "pulmonary" refers to the lungs. Something in or around that area of the body. HTH.
