Da Francese a Italiano Marketing Marketing/Ricerche di mercato Mercatique d'aval

Sto traducendo un glossario multilingue specializzato in economia e finanza. La lingua di partenza è il francese. Mi trovo a tradurre il termine "Mercatique d'aval" che in inglese viene tradotto come downstream marketing, ma in ES e PT viene tradotto come "marketing de clientes" e "Marketing do consumidor". Inizialmente avevo tradotto come "marketing del consumatore", ma dopo aver trovato questa definizione in inglese di downstream marketing non sono più certa che sia una buona proposta:

"Downstream marketing is the marketing activities performed for a product or service that already exists. So most of your traditional marketing efforts such as advertising, trade shows, promotions etc can be termed as downstream marketing.
Upstream marketing, on the other hand, refer to all the marketing efforts undertaken in the early stage of product development; e.g. segmentation, market research, pricing research etc.
"Downstream" or "upstream" here refers to the stage in the life cycle of the product where this activity is performed. It's not related to the downstream/upstream in distribution channels".

Ho pensato alla traduzione seguente: marketing a valle.
