Trados Studio 2017 - Updating TM

Hi everybody,
I have recently started using Trados Studio 2017 and I have just realised that my TMs are not
updated. Actually most of them are empty. I think this is due to the fact that I didn't tick the relevant "Update" box in the TM Project settings...
Is there a way to update a TM at a later stage, for instance using the completed bilingual Trados file?
Any suggestions?
