At least I don't think so. I'm not sure what it is. I'm guessing it means something akin to localisation - in other words, ensuring that the texts are culturally appropriate for the target audience. That kind of situation doesn't often arise for me.

20 years telling the Spanish not to put their age or marital status on their resumes :/
And to make it look professional! Wow. I've seen CEOs here with resumes that look like they were written by a 15 year old.
On the bright side... 15 year olds here are not attending seminars on how to write a resume, as in the US

Why?
Because it's not necessary information and can lead to discrimination.
For ex: married woman, going on 30, might get pregnant brrrrrrrrr.

When I interpret for the immigration and the respondent/applicant explains that the "masked men entered his/her home (mascații au intrat în casă), it is helpful to explain that the "masked men" are the police special forces, not random masked men.
