Hi dear all!
I would have a question for experts in the field of localisation: How much woud you normally charge per word for a localisation of a software? The relevant language combination is from English to German. Some price tips?

Hello Svetlana,
In our business, we usually charge £0.09 GBP or €0.10 EUR per word – for software, documentation as well as help pages. If the client has a file format that we can’t process right away (which should rarely be the case), we would charge a surplus of £0.02 GBP per word for im- and exporting the file.
