the trees were in bloom.

and is winter and gloom.

let us be as before:

and the snow shall thaw!

your brows: the clouds at night.

Your cheeks and face are aglow

and rose-petal-bright.

Wherever you go

Having a rare opportunity to compare the english translation with the original verses written in the 16th century, in medieval Armenian language, I can only agree without any doubt with the great writer...
