I'll make this .... ...quick 'cos I need to go to bed. In Spain companies have capital. This is held by 'shareholders' in the case of a sociedad anonima (accionistas hold acciones - shares.) A limited liability company, the more private beast has its capital divided into 'participaciones'. Your question relates to bog standard estatutos of such. The correct translation of participaciones is a moot point. I actually like to call them 'capital shares' with a standard footnote to explain the difference even thought they may not be called 'shares'. I have seen people translate them as 'quotas' which I hate. For nearly all practical purposes they actually equate to 'shares' and if the context makes the distinction unnecessary then I actually refer to them as shares. How you translate them is a moot point since you can't call them shares here. The Regimen is simply Provisions/Regime/Rules govering 'capital shares' or whatever you want to call them. But think of them as shares and use another term. Hope that helps, must go to bed now.

See my note above. For Regimen, provisions or rules governing will do fine. Another way of translating 'participaciones' is 'capital interests' or 'capital holdings' which you could use here for participaciones. As mentioned, nobody really has a very adequate translation for this because in English speaking countries they are all shares of one sort or another, which would be fine except for the fact that in Spain the estatutos usually provide that you cannot call them shares. I actually call them 'capital shares' on the basis that they really approximate to a type of 'share' and would argue that the term 'share' is not the same as 'capital share'. But when I use this term I have a standard 'translator's note' explaining why this term is used.

As it's a title, you can be a little liberal in the translation of "Régimen de participación" and set the scene for the niceties of what follows with a view to avoiding the (confusing) use of 'shares.

Structure of participations

I think this Article describes the participations (stakes) in this LLP or LLC.
You shouldn't use words like "shares" or "shareholders". I personally like "stakeholders" and "participations".
