Dear Sirs,

These days we are facing the discussion http://www.proz.com/topic/82796 that obviously must end and must be solved in a proper way.

If we have to learn or discuss Macedonian or Greek history and solve political issues, we would have been historians or politicians, but we are translators and we will always be.

Dear Sirs,

These days we are facing the discussion http://www.proz.com/topic/82796 that obviously must end and must be solved in a proper way.

If we have to learn or discuss Macedonian or Greek history and solve political issues, we would have been historians or politicians, but we are translators and we will always be.

On behalf of the Macedonian localization team, I’m addressing this open question to you, because you are the ones who should solve this situation and finally open the forum called Macedonian.

Short time ago, Patrick (with whom we have wonderful cooperation) announced that the Macedonian localization of ProZ.com has reached its final stage and is about to be finished.

We have been contacted to work on the Macedonian localization and strongly believe that you will show respect toward our commitment and work, and appreciate the name of the language we work with, as it is stated in Organism for International Standardization of languages – ISO.

As members of this community of professional translators and language specialists, we feel that it is our inherent right to call the forum Macedonian, and that Proz.com should accept it. We will not go into discussions defending our language, we are all gathered here in order to do our job the best we can, we are all gathered because of its Majesty, the Language, we rely on your professionalism and expect your action as soon as possible.

With kindest regards,
Gabriela Nikolova

On behalf of the Macedonian localization team

I'll post in that thread Sep 7, 2007

Hi. I think it is appropriate to reply within the thread in question, and I will do that tomorrow. Thanks for calling my attention, but next time, I'd prefer it you could just use a support ticket to do that.

(Later: Enrique and I have discussed and he has posted.)
