EVERYONE: I received this email via Proz.com, that I'm sensing it's a scam. I tried tracking this person in LinkedIn, there is a profile with almost nothing on it. It's the "sensitive offer" for me... "My name is Melisa Selin Ozan from Turkey,I have a sensitive offer to seek your cooperation toexecute.Reply me back for more details.Thank you". (modificato) "I said, "Do you speak-a my language?"... He just smiled and gave me a Vegemite sandwich... and he said..." Translators at Work XD "I'm gonna read the back of my eyelids"... (modificato) I wonder how to attract young people to the translation industry... Personal brand. That's very important for all professionals, regardless of their field. You know you're good at whatever you do, but everybody else don't. So, the critical thing here is how to project that expertise without being salesy. People should perceive it as your second skin, not a pushy move.
