I've always loved translating. I started in high school translating from Japanese to Italian and/or English having taught myself some Japanese and then continued in university getting an actual degree in Japanese Language. At the same time I was deepening my knowledge of English, I got the CPE and started translating as a freelance. I moved to Japan (Tokyo) on 2010 where I worked as an English and Italian teacher, translator and interpreter. I worked there 2 years and then I moved to a company that owned the biggest online retail store in Japan. I was in charge of the Customer Support for foreign customers and used to speak both in Japanese and English with customers and colleagues. I was also in charge of the translation of the products sold on the website, from Japanese to English. My experience is pretty vast, I can easily translate to and from Italian, English and Japanese. |
