The XXXXX SARS-CoV-2 Assay performed on the YYYYY Instrument is a rapid molecular in vitro diagnostic test utilizing a real-time reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification technology for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2. The product contains primers, fluorophore-labeled probes and control material used in real time RT-PCR for the in vitro qualitative detection of specific SARS-CoV-2 RNA in respiratory specimens
Traduzione - Italiano La malattia da Coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) è una malattia respiratoria acuta causata dall’infezione da parte del virus SARS-CoV-2, inizialmente segnalato all'OMS a Wuhan (Cina) il 31 dicembre 2019. Il virus SARS-CoV-2 appartiene alla stessa famiglia di virus responsabili della SARS (sindrome respiratoria acuta grave) e si tramette da una persona all’altra. Le goccioline contenenti il virus emesse da una persona infetta possono essere trasmesse ad un'altra persona attraverso il naso, gli occhi o la bocca.
I sintomi dell'infezione da SARS-CoV-2 possono variare da lievi malesseri, come raffreddore, mal di gola, tosse e febbre; nei casi gravi, può portare a polmonite, difficoltà respiratorie o morte.

Actually a Proz.Com member since the very beginning in 1999, I have been translating all these years, first working with 3 languages (EN, FR, and SP), and eventually specializing in En>IT translations - plus some IT>EN translations too, mainly in the medical-pharma, legal, and technical areas. Having a solid educational background, I can ensure excellent use of the Italian language, with no grammar, punctuation and syntax mistakes. I have also been working as a simultaneous translator for many years, but recently I have privileged written translations, working from my home office in the marvellous Tuscan countryside. I am rather fast, still ensuring accuracy, and also use some CAT tools, such as the SDL TRADOS STUDIO SUITE 2017, MemSource, Wordfast and any corporate CAT tool agencies or clients ask me to use.
