E Estudo 2 pretende: desenvolver e avaliar um programa de treinamento de terapeutas familiares, direcionado ao desenvolvimento de habilidades específicas ao atendimento de casais em crise por meio do treinamento para aplicação do programa desenvolvido, com os objetivos específicos: a) avaliar o impacto do treinamento sobre o conhecimento dos profissionais referente ao atendimento psicoterápico de casais em crise, b) avaliar fatores adicionais que possam ter impacto na atuação profissional, e c) elaborar um livro direcionado aos profissionais sobre o atendimento psicoterápico conjugal. Participarão do Estudo 1, seis casais que estejam vivenciando conflitos conjugais. Traduzione - Inglese Study 1 aims to develop and evaluate an intervention program for couples focused on: a) enhancing specific Marital Social Skills, previously identified as deficient, and b) positively impacting marital satisfaction, with the following specific objectives: a) to develop an unprecedented program with attractive methodology and b) to prepare a booklet, directed to the general public, reflecting upon the contingencies of the marital relation. And Study 2 aims to: develop and assess a training program for family therapists, focused on the development of specific skills for the care of couples in crisis, through a training for the implementation of the program developed, with the following specific objectives: a) to assess the impact of the training on the knowledge of these professionals regarding the psychotherapy care of couples in crisis, b) to evaluate additional factors that may have an impact on the professional practice, and c) to prepare a book directed to professionals about the marital psychotherapy care. Six couples that are experiencing marital conflicts will take part in Study 1. The Quasi-Experimental (AB) research design will be applied, with training of specific marital skills for the six couples separately. Ten Family Therapists will take part in Study 2. A pretest–posttest design will be used. Data collection tools will be applied in three distinct moments. In parallel, some of the family therapists will work with couples in crisis, implementing the intervention program learned. The training will happen in group, in eight weekly meetings, similar to a workshop.

As organizações criadas pela sociedade ao longo da era moderna
tornaram-se ineficientes, lentas, grandes e excessivamente
burocráticas. A falência financeira e a corrupção são
os sintomas mais visíveis de muitas delas. O descrédito da população
nos políticos está nas primeiras páginas dos jornais
na maior parte dos países do mundo. Como consequência,
as instituições encarregadas da tomada de decisões coletivas
criadas pela sociedade moderna, tais como partidos, parlamentos,
governos, tribunais e demais órgãos estatais sofrem
crises causadas pela ineficiência, que leva à falta de legitimidade
e credibilidade perante a sociedade.
A crise das instituições políticas encarregadas de processar
as decisões coletivas na sociedade atual, é, ao mesmo tempo,
causa e efeito dos deslocamentos de poder provocados pelo
impacto das novas tecnologias e das transformações por elas
geradas. Sob circunstâncias normais, as deliberações políticas
dos governos e suas instituições cumprem suas atividades
até o fim. Atualmente, essas estruturas políticas não cumprem
suas funções. O dinheiro público se perde na burocracia e
na corrupção. Cada vez mais impostos são cobrados da sociedade,
que não vê o retorno em serviços públicos de segurança, educação, saúde e infraestrutura. As vítimas, em geral,
são aquelas que mais necessitam desses serviços e que menos
condições têm de obtê-los pelos próprios meios.
O tipo de liderança baseada no poder burocrático, impessoal
e abstrato, que decide sobre muitos assuntos, tornou-se
inadequado à nova realidade. A execução das decisões depende
de órgãos executores que não as executam. A autoridade
é constrangida por leis superadas e fiscalizada por organismos
corrompidos e ineficientes. A legitimidade da liderança
precisa se legitimar pelo voto da maioria, mas a população se
abstém de participar.
O novo sistema econômico que emerge com a sociedade
contemporânea compõe um sistema social cujo nível de diversidade
e complexidade é infinitamente maior do que o existente
no período anterior. As decisões políticas e administrativas,
agora, dependem de corpos técnicos sofisticados que abastecem
o líder de informações sobre áreas que este desconhece
se não estudá-las e não se preparar para não errar. A alta
especialização do conhecimento, a complexidade, o volume
e a velocidade das informações que envolvem a tomada de
decisões, limitam o poder da liderança nas organizações da
sociedade contemporânea, tornando-a mais temporária, flexível,
colegiada e consensual.
As estruturas estatais da sociedade moderna foram construídas
na época em que o principal meio de transporte e troca
de mensagens à distância era o cavalo. Os estados nacionais
estavam recém se formando nessa época. As diferentes
regiões do mundo eram isoladas umas das outras e as economias eram mais protegidas por leis vigentes dentro das fronteiras
nacionais. As decisões a serem tomadas por governantes
num contexto como esse envolviam um volume muito menor
de variáveis, que demandavam mais tempo de quem precisava
decidir. As decisões tomadas de forma relativamente isoladas
pela distância geográfica e pela lentidão dos sistemas de comunicação
e transportes, pouca ou nenhuma consequência
causavam além das fronteiras territoriais de cada Estado nacional.
As instituições políticas remanescentes da sociedade moderna
(governos, parlamentos, tribunais) também refletem
uma forma obsoleta de lidar com o conhecimento. Este tipo
de estrutura anacrônica produz intermináveis problemas jurídicos, disputas interburocráticas e o consequente aumento dos custos do Estado. A ineficiência do Estado, por sua vez, leva
à geração de efeitos secundários adversos, às vezes piores do
que a tentativa inicial de solucionar um determinado problema
na sua origem. A centralização do poder não funciona. Os
governos e as instituições jurídicas e políticas da sociedade
moderna foram pensados para tomar decisões num ambiente
em que uma informação poderia levar dias para atingir círculos
mais amplos da sociedade. As reações eventualmente
adversas eram mais raras e mais fáceis de contornar.

As a consequence, institutions in charge of the collective decision-making created by modern society, such as parties, parliaments, governments, courts and other state bodies, suffer from crises caused by inefficiency, which leads to a lack of legitimacy and credibility from the society.
The crisis of political institutions in charge of processing collective decisions in today's society is at the same time the cause and effect of the shifts in power caused by the impact of new technologies and the transformations they generate.
Under normal circumstances, the political deliberations of governments and their institutions carry out their activities to the end.
At present, these political structures do not fulfill their functions.
Public money is lost in bureaucracy and corruption.
Increasingly taxes are levied from society, which does not see the return on public services such as safety, education, health and infrastructure.
The victims, in general, are those who most need these services and who have fewer conditions to obtain them by their own means.

The decisions were made relatively isolated by the geographic distance and, due to the slowness of the communication and transport systems, they caused little or no consequence beyond the territorial borders of each national state.
The remaining political institutions of modern society (governments, parliaments, courts) also reflect an obsolete form of dealing with knowledge.
This type of anachronistic structure produces endless legal problems, interbureaucratic disputes and the consequent increase in the State expenditures.
