Profile
An Italian native speaker with two master's degrees in Political economy and EU law and economy from the Italian education system, I had a first 10 years' career in macroeconomic research and consulting working in Italy mainly for US organizations (US Department of State, US association, Italian government). I relocated to France in 2008 where I worked as an economics teacher at public high school and got a bachelor degree in French Linguistics and Literature from Sorbonne University. When an economic analyst I was as well an articles' writer on economic subjects but always had a big interest in literature and languages, as far as both literary and linguistic issues are concerned. That's why I decided to attend a master's course on comparative literature and translation, also to give a formal credential to my skills I built working as a translator during the last 12 years side by side with my economist career. I am an experienced translator from English and French into Italian, as well as from English and Italian into French. I have a strong ability in research, etymology (I studied Latin and ancient Greek, as well as some Arabic), attention to detail, excellent writing skills as grammar and orthography are concerned, project management skills (on-time and in-budget delivery of a quality product). I specialize in all economics-related subjects (from macroeconomics to marketing), journalism, international affairs, politics, as well as medical translations, education, resumes, websites, culture, arts, food, wine and tourism. My teacher job, coupled with an innate eye for detail, makes me an excellent proofreader and copy-editor in Italian and French.

Rates
My rates are negotiable and vary from € 0.09 to € 0.14 per source word for translation, depending on the material to be translated (text type, subject and deadline), from € 0.02 per word on for copywriting, from € 50 per hour on for checking.
