I am a native German and English linguist with over 30 years of professional experience in translation, proofreading, editing and interpreting. I specialize in legal, medical and technical translation and review, helping clients communicate accurately and clearly across languages.
My experience includes legal documents, contracts, certificates and patents; medical documents, including cardiology content; and technical manuals and tutorials. My technical fields cover automotive, engineering, electronics, IT systems and networks, telecommunications, construction, energy and transport. I also work with business and financial documents, websites, advertising and tourism content.
I translate into German from English, French, Polish, Turkish, Serbo-Croat, Italian and Czech, and into English from German and the same additional source languages.
I graduated from the University of Potsdam in 1990 with a degree in linguistics and German studies. My working tools include Trados Studio, memoQ and Microsoft Office 365, and I am also familiar with Phrase and Wordfast.
