A társasház állapota:
A 2 emeletes téglaház külső homlokzata néhány éve lett felújítva. A belső homlokzat átlagos állapotú, de a ház folyamatosan gondoskodik a felújításról, legutóbb 2017 nyarán a teljes ház függőfolyosó-rendszere felújításra került, így egy új, biztonságos szerkezetet és csúszásmentes burkolatot kapott, emellett a patinás kovácsoltvas korlát is visszanyerte eredeti szépségét. I'm having by furthermost interesting time of my life. It doesn't happen often the people who told that their future as a state is in their hand, an answer I would like.
I have come to love that land, it's sights and it's sounds, I never worry of the East, just as I never feel it to be alian, it's a second native country, and if my family were not in England, I should have no wish to return.
Father, I came to the conclusion I've been very unhappy in the big things always and very happy in the little things. So changed the happyness I supposed it is, except only in that very big thing: complete love and confidence in my own family. I have had that always. And you, other piece of it.

(background voice) Gertrude Margaret Lowthian Bell was born on July the 14, 1868 at the residence of her grandfather, Sir Isaac Lowthian Bell, a prominent iron master and owner of coolmines. Mary Shield, Gertude's mother died when Gertrude's brother, Maurice was born, Gertrude was three years old.

"Gertrude's relation to her father, that deep, mutual affection, were to both the very foundation of existence.
Gertrude was eight when her father and I were married. I have found the diary of her kept when she was eleven, given her as a Christmas present in 1878, but only kept for few pages....she never entirelly mastered the art of spelling and all her life long there were certain words that were allways spelt wrong."

Padre, sono arrivata alla conclusione di essere sempre stata molto infelice nelle grandi cose e molto felice in quelle piccole. E' tanto cambiata la felicità da come supponevo fosse, tranne che in quella cosa molto grande: l'amore e la fiducia illimitate nella mia famiglia . L'ho sempre avuta. Traduzione - Italiano In una mattina di primavera, le persone che abitavano nel vicolo, una volta aperto il portone, videro che il vicolo era sporco. Una vecchia signora gridò a voce alta: "Chi ha fatto questo, chi ha gettando la spazzatura nel vicolo? Che razza di gente ha fatto una cosa cosi odiosa.......” Chi avrà seminato sabbia, pietra, calce bianca? E' chiaro, sarà stata di sicuro una persona che ieri sera aveva ristrutturato casa e, nel portar fuori la spazzatura sbadatamente l'ha rovesciata nel vicolo.
"Scio scio ..." Qualcuno le disse di smettere di gridare e le chiese "Non l'hai visto? La famiglia Wang sta ristrutturando casa!"
La vecchia signora allungò il collo e vide che con buona probabilità la sabbia e le pietre iniziavano alla casa della famiglia Wang e si protraevano fino all'entrata del vicolo. “Ai, ai, come hanno potuto fare una cosa così odiosa? Ognuna pulisca la sua parte, ad ogni modo non c'è molto da fare." Detto questo se ne tornò a casa a prendere la scopa.
Le persone, passando di lì, vedendo una vecchia signora che stava ramazzando per strada con una scopa in mano, non hanno potuto fare a meno di guardare verso la porta della famiglia Wang: non riuscivano a capacitarsi che gente speciale potesse vivere lì.
Mentre tutti stavano pulendo la strada con la scopa, dal cancello della famiglia Wang uscì un bel giovanotto. È un po' inappropriato dire che era un giovane; nel suo modo di camminare mancava la vitalità dei giovani e in più aveva un'espressione sofisticata un po' all'antica. Questa espressione gli è rimasta dall'esperienza di vita vissuta. Ora siamo negli anni '80 del ventesimo secolo, le persone, più passano gli anni e più diventano giovani e, anche se chiamano una persona di mezza età “giovane”, questo non gli farà fare rammarico.
Il giovane uscì e vedendo che qualcuno stava spazzando per terra nel vicolo si mise subito a salutare tutti quanti: "Scusate, scusate, smettete di spazzare, è la nostra famiglia che ha sporcato questo vicolo, lasciate che lo pulisca io".
Non si sarebbe mai aspettato che la gente, vedendolo, lo chiamasse Maestro Wang, e poi che tutti gli consigliassero di andare a casa a riposare； bastava che pulissero loro, una cosa da niente come questa non aveva bisogno del suo intervento.
Questo giovane non era un uomo speciale. La sua occupazione era insegnare, era un insegnante di scuola elementare, si chiamava Wang Bailing. Le persone di questo vicolo conoscevano bene Wang Bailing, non importa se uomo o donna, vecchio o giovane, appena lo vedevano, lo chiamavano da lontano Maestro Wang. Il fatto che lo rispettassero aveva a che fare con suo padre morto. Pure suo padre aveva lavorato come insegnante in una scuola elementare, per tutta la vita; tutte le persone del vicolo, persone di mezza età, giovani e bambini hanno avuto come insegnante il padre e il figlio. 天地君亲师 esprime l'idea del rispetto tradizionale dei cinesi verso il cielo, la terra, l'imperatore, il padre e il maestro. Le persone nel vicolo rispettavano anche sua madre e la chiamavano moglie del maestro Wang.
