Forty+ years of living and working with Italian have provided me with a comprehensive insight into both the language and the people.
Italy - and all things Italian – has been my passion since first decamping there as an au-pair; ostensibly for just a year before going to University. In the end, that particular road was not taken until much later.
I fell in love with the country and the people, and decided to stay.
Since then, almost every aspect of my working career has involved reading, speaking, translating and working in the Italian language.
My work history includes client-facing, administrative, managerial, legal and supervisory roles which has given me a broad range of skills which, I feel, provide the fundamental background for a successful career in translation.
I now divide my time between UK and Italy.
