Historically speaking, that was the age of the Web 1.0 and of the New Economy . We used to find the modem and cathode ray tube reassuring and our way of thinking , measured in megabytes instead of gigabytes, was at the click of a mouse. Whether we had desktops or portables, our outlook on the world was adjusted to 800×600 pixels. Everything seemed incredibly futuristic.
I am Italian Canadian and have an Honours degree in Modern Languages from a Canadian University.
I started both teaching languages and translating while in school and haven't stopped since.
