Desde este anillo parten las acometidas a los sistemas fijos, monitores, hidrantes y BIEs que protegen áreas/equipos concretos de la Planta.
En general, se define para cada área un sistema principal de extinción (sistema fijo o BIEs) con cobertura de un sistema de apoyo (BIEs o extintores).
El anillo cuenta con válvulas de corte, que permiten el aislamiento por tramos del anillo. La disposición de tuberías y válvulas adoptada garantiza el suministro de agua a los sistemas fijos, monitores, hidrantes y BIEs aun en el supuesto de que algún tramo del anillo se encuentre interrumpido, de modo que siempre quede disponible el sistema principal o el de apoyo para cada riesgo.

The layout of the pipes and valves adopted guarantees the supply of water to the fixed systems, monitors, hydrants and FHCs even in the event that some section of the ring is cut off, so that the main or support system is always available for any hazard.
