'con fresature di scarico apicali si intende descrivere una lavorazione di fresatura presente nella zona apicale dell’impianto il cui scopo è quello di permettere lo scarico del particolato osseo in fase di posizionamento dell’impianto.'

I was thinking of using 'apical thread design for the removal of bone particles during insertion'.
Have any of you ever come across this before?

Sorry for being not helpful and late. Yes, your interpretation is correct, I wanted to suggest "debridement" since this seems the purpose.
"Scarico" is a sort of "drenaggio"( hopefully, I'm posting another pdf on terminology

Richiedente: thanks - I seem to have some problem with the pdf and html. I assume you mean a rough surface (bur) in the apical part of the implant for the removal (debridement) of bone?
