Reference: Picture of "case a fasce" Reference information: This link (https://books.google.ca/books?id=GiLrlA4fTO8C&pg=PT6&lpg=PT6... lets you see a picture of case "a fasce". They seem to be multi-story buildings with the dwelling units occupying portions of each floor. The different units are painted in different colors. No idea how to render it in English. This type of house seems peculiar to the Liguria region of Italy; it may be justified to leave it in Italian and provide a brief explanation within brackets. |
