Italian term

in rispetto al

Italian to English Law/Patents Law: Contract(s)
I think this might be a mistake in the source but as the client is English, I can't ask them (they don't have a relationship with the contract's author).

The full sentence is:

"Il Venditore dovrà includere il logo "[name]" posizionandolo, ****in rispetto al**** gusto estetico, in una area adatta sulle attrezzature e su tutti i disegni e sui documenti previo accordo con l'Acquirente.

Should it be "nel rispetto della" or "con rispetto alla"?

Either way, would you recommend trying to translate it or simply ignoring it?

Thanks in advance.

Discussion

luskie Mar 28, 2014:
well, it actually is. plain simple italian would have read "rispettando l'estetica" or "nel rispetto dell'estetica", with no "in" and no "gusto". no mistakes but a real bad wording, yes.
George Young (asker) Mar 28, 2014:
Thanks for your advice, that was my understanding of what it meant but I just found the grammar a bit unusual.
luskie Mar 26, 2014:
no mistake in the source, it just means that logo positioning must respect the aesthetics of the product/document, must not interfere with its appearance, e.g. must be placed in a corner rather than in the center. hth.
