Problem cleaning up Aug 16, 2012

Hello,

I am trying to clean up a Word file in Trados 7, which I have done many times before, but it wouldn't work. Here is what I do: I have put the original English file together with the translated file in a folder. I go to Tools in Workbench, Clean up, Add -here I can see the file, I choose the unclean file (actually I have a copy named "clean"), Open, Log file, Browse - and here is the problem - I can see the folder but no Word files show here. I get the message "No items match...... See more

I am trying to clean up a Word file in Trados 7, which I have done many times before, but it wouldn't work. I get the message "No items match..." or I see a text document. I try to clean up, the cleaning up is performed but there is no clean file. I cannot understand how to reach the doc to be cleaned under Log file and Browse. Why do they disappear? Does anyone have an idea what might be the problem? ▲ Collapse
