Dear All,
As previously announced, the first phase of the 7th ProZ.com Translation Contest closes on Wednesday (tomorrow) at 14 GMT.
Here is what will happen when the phase closes:
* Language pairs with more than 7 entries will move to qualification round voting.
* Language pairs with 3-7 entries will go directly into final round voting (a qualification stage is not necessary since the number of entries is manageable).

* Language pairs with more than 7 entries will move to qualification round voting.
* Language pairs with 3-7 entries will go directly into final round voting (a qualification stage is not necessary since the number of entries is manageable).
* Language pairs with 1 or 2 entries: A winner can not be selected unless there are at least three entries. Therefore, submissions will be permitted beyond the first deadline. As soon as a third entry is received, submission will close and the pair will go into final round voting.

Hi Romina,
Is it still possible to submit RU-UKR translation? There are already 3 entries for the moment. I saw only 2 proposals - to submit RU-ENG and RU_FR translations.

Yes, submission will be open in all pairs till 14 GMT today.

What would the One Entry receives! There are few language pairs that has only one entry, would the the effort of the translators be ignored?

Hi, Zoya, you probably cannot see the ADD button because RU-UKR is not one of your working languages.
Just add this language pair as working in your profile.

Dear Romina,
I have read a couple of comments in the "Dislike" boxes in the ENG-RUS combination. Some of the comments under the "other" title are not of a linguistic character (no reasonable explanation is provided). Many of the comments are rude. Perhaps you give a warning to the reviewers: rude comments will be deleted by the moderators.

Most of the 'dislike' comments in Eng-Rus pair are ignorant and aggressive. They hold no water linguistic-wise. Someone is just using this tag for splashing out the aggression accumulated.

I suggest that there should be a possibility to change your agree or disagree when you comment on a tag made by another person.
For example, I had a couple of times just a slip of the mouse.
