Another training course for the list | Oct 14, 2011 |
Unfortunately, I too have no information to share on the courses you listed. However, if I may, I'd like to add a certificate course to the list. The courses are run at the university with regular students and with people e-learning at the same time (specifically, in addition to emailing homework assignments back and forth and receiving feedback from the instructors, the classes that students attending the university take are recorded and are uploaded to the internet within a matter of hours). I actually took one of the classes in this course in my second year of college. Alas, I wasn't quite ready for such intensive Japanese and only took the one. If only I knew then what I know now. However, I was impressed with the content of the class, which is why I'm considering doing the full course this time. Being run by a university, however, the course is quite expensive. http://www.simulacademy.com/web/ They are "well known" in Japan (whatever that means) - and I was able to register for their website and sample their courses. It sounded very good to me. But again, I cannot say for sure. Also ISS Institute is another well known one. Best, Ayako | | |
I should not mention the training agency names above. One agency sent me a job to use Trados. They also offer training of CAT tools e.g. Trados. But my job had mistakes since that agency did not understand well how to yous CAT tools with Japanese texts.
