国内比较好的翻译公司给客户的报价一般是在0.08/0.10USD，其中包括校稿的价格。

我想你也可以按这个标准给客户开价。

直接客户的好处：付款快，不用担心赖帐，大多数时间比较充裕，相互交流比较容易
缺点：单个客户业务量少，很大比例源稿错误率高，正常情况下责任比较重些

我给直接客户做的业务，花的时间往往比给翻译公司的多，有几个原因：
1）直接客户关注的核心是质量，一般愿意给较多时间。

1）直接客户关注的核心是质量，一般愿意给较多时间。
2）责任也大些，你应该承担除DTP外翻译公司的全部责任（翻译+终校）。客户收到稿后一般自己也会很仔细地校一两遍（毕竟是自己的东西），但他们毕竟不是专业人士，只能找出明显的typo，或虽然能看出翻译上的问题，但不容易自己解决。
3）交流容易些，有疑问时可以交流，客户非常愿意反馈。
4）直接客户往往是小客户，源稿可能不是专业人员写的，源稿错误率比较高，理解起来有些难度。

翻译公司存在的主要目的是赚钱，时间效率是它们非常关注的因素。翻译公司虽然也关注质量，至少声称关注质量，但给的时间比较紧张，另外少了和最终客户交流的机会和时间。翻译公司往往不愿意花时间交流，你花他们的时间越多，对于他们而言，就是找你的成本越高。

你可以综合成本和优缺点后报价。
