There is an organisation in every part of the country, launching a party or a festival.
Parties start normally at around 10:00 p.m and ends at seven in the morning and can last until eleven. The cost depends on the capacity as well as the location and the promotion. The entry fee for smaller parties is usually five euros while the bigger ones can cost from twenty to twenty five euros. Presales ticket can be bought on the internet but also in larger store such as the Fnac or specialized ones such as: Techno Import in Paris.

The two major trance festivals in France are World People and the Hadra Festival. However, other festivals can be planned, so one must keep informed on the happenings of the scene. Do not hesitate to surf on the forum Trance Goa (www.trancegoa.org) and/or Goabase (www.goabase.net).
If you do not want to be stoked in front of the door of a party or a festival, do not bring any glass materials. (bottle, glass…).
There has been parties cancelled due to police control in the last presidential years. But it seems to have calmed down a little. For a long time, a real battle took place to make the government understand that it could find something out of making the festivals and parties be accepted. There are many rules and laws that are not easy to meet in order to be able to organise a party compatible with the government demands. That has stopped organizers that have to cancel parties or to move them into other areas. When the prefecture has given a favorable notice, it is the police that will decide the police reinforcement that they will choose to deploy.
The pstyravellers have understood what was at stake by leaving the locations they were partying on completely clean as well as respect for the sound at certain hours.We have rarely seen a fight in those parties or festivals. The words: respect, peace, love and joy of life” still have their values.
Music that can be heard are: Chillout & Downbeat, Minimal & Alternative, Progressive (Goa) Trance, Psychedelic (Goa) Trance.

One of the best way to travel in this country rich of different landscape and natural curiosity remains the train. There is a very good train system, that will you bring you anywhere very quickly. You can swim in the morning and decide to go skiing in one of the best resorts in the world in the afternoon. Tickets are not expensive and can be purchased in advance (20 Euros for a Paris-Marseille). There is also a bus service that is specialised in festivals (Le bus trance). A substitute to hitchhiking which is not very popular is car sharing. You can find car sharing on the web, there are many companies that are specialised in this type of transport. You can also find adds on the “Forum Trance Goa” and/or the ads of the parties on Facebook.
Do not be surprised when you will be in France if you get a kiss on the cheek. This is part of the French culture. In some part of the country, it can be one kiss, two, three or four. Do not forget to look straight into the eyes when you will toast to a new friendship.

Les soirées commencent en général vers vingt deux heures pour finir à sept heures et peuvent aller jusqu’à onze heures. Le coût dépend sur la capacité ainsi que le lieu et la promotion. L’entrée des petites soirées sont en générales à cinq euros tandis que les plus grandes coûteront entre vingt et vingt cinq euros. Les pré-ventes peuvent être acheter sur le net mais aussi dans des grands magasins tel que la Fnac où des magasins spécialisés tel que Techno Import à Paris.
Les deux gros festivals Trance en France sont le festival World People et le festival Hadra. Cependant, d’autres festivals peuvent avoir lieu, il faut donc rester informer. N’hésitez pas à surfer sur le forum Trance Goa (www.trancegoa.org) et/où Goabase (www.goabase.net).
Si vous ne voulez pas vous retrouver coincer à la sortie d’une soirée où d’un festival, n’apportez pas d’objet en verre (bouteille, verre…).

Il y a eu beaucoup d’annulation et de contrôle policière surtout pendant la dernière présidentielle. Mais, cela semble s’être calmée. Pendant, très longtemps, une réelle bataille a été mise en place pour faire comprendre au gouvernement qu’il pouvait y trouver son compte à accepter les soirées et les festivals. Il existe beaucoup de lois et de régulations qui ne sont pas facile à honorer afin de pouvoir faire un événement qui soit compatible avec les demandes du gouvernement. Cela a freiné beaucoup d’organisateurs qui ont du annuler les soirées où ont du les déplacer dans d’autres lieux. Lorsque la préfecture donne un avis favorable, c’est la police qui décidera du renforcement qu’elle décidera de déployer.
Les personnes de la scène Trance ont compris les enjeux de garder les lieux propres suite à leur passage et le respect du bruit après certaines heures. On a très rarement vu des bagarres dans les soirées où les festivals. Les mots « respect, paix, amour, joie de vivre » ont encore leur valeur.
La musique que nous pouvons entendre sont : le chillout & Downbeat, l’alternative, la progressive et la Trance psychédélique (GOA).

Le meilleur moyen de voyager à travers ce pays riche de différents paysages et curiosités naturelles reste le train. Nous avons un très bon système ferroviaire, qui peut vous apporter à n’importe quel endroit très rapidement. Vous pouvez vous baigner le matin et décider d’aller skier dans l’une des plus belles stations au monde l’après-midi. Les billets ne sont pas chères si ils sont pris en avance. (20 euros pour un Paris-Marseille). Il y a aussi un service de bus et un qui est spécialisé dans les voyages sur les festivals (le bus trance). Un substitue à l’auto-stop qui n’est pas très populaire et le co-voiturage. Cherchez « co-voiturage » sur le net car il y a beaucoup de sociétés spécialisées dans ce type de transport. Vous pouvez aussi trouver des annonces sur le Forum Trance Goa et/ou sur les annonces des soirées sur Facebook.
Ne soyez pas surpris lorsque vous serez en France si on vous fait une bise sur la joue. Cela fait partie de la culture française. Dans certains endroits du pays, cela sera une bise, deux, trois ou quatre. N’oubliez pas non plus de regarder droit dans les yeux, lorsque vous taperez votre verre avec celui de votre nouvel ami.

Qui n’a pas entendu parler du mythe du « French Lover » ? Les tranceurs en France radie l’amour. Cela n’a pas toujours été facile pour eux mais regardez dans leurs yeux, vous verrez cette flemme spéciale qui permet à la scène de continuer à grandir, être rythmée et à vivre. Le mythe du « Nous sommes un tout, nous sommes un » prend tout son sens.
Cette destination ne devrait pas être manquer et être mis au plus vite dans votre calendrier. Prenez l’avion, le train ou le bus, et regardez quand à lieu la prochaine soirée où le prochain festival. Partez pour une belle aventure car ce pays a beaucoup à offrir. Prenez le temps de le découvrir, allez dans les petits magasins, goûtez au vin Français, la baguette où le fromage. Soyez aventureux ! Il n’y a pas de danger, et vous pourrez rencontrer de nouveaux amis, de nouveaux endroits et qui sait peut-être qu’au long de cette aventure inoubliable, vous ferez la rencontre de votre « French Lover ».

Trilingual since a very age in Italian, French and English, I had to simultaneously translate in those three languages first among friends than at University and more on a professional level in my different positions.
My education has been undertaken both in English and French schools and also in Italy at the American University of Rome.
During my career, I was hired as a marketing manager EMEA for the call center/CRM unity of a computer software, IT services company. The offer for this position was proposed not only for my knowledge of the customer relationship softwares but also for the fact that the English manager team needed someone to communicate with their French manager team.
Having held positions in different fields : beauty, IT services, software, humanitarian organisation, resorts and restaurant and tourism industries, I can relate to these different industries.
Finally, I have had a position as the French editor for an electronic music magazine for the last nine years and have translated most of the documents from French to English and English to French.
