Yes, my Duden says a Klischee is a Druckstock, which is a plate.

agree Ken Cox : The Austrians aren't that crazy, they're just a bit slower in replacing their French loan words with American loan words than their friends to the north. // Not meant specifically wrt this, but more French loan words have survived in Austria than Germany.
