I'm having trouble translating the above terms, in the context of a partnership between a private equity company and a film production company, and I'm totally stuck with the legal jargon... could "Capital Raising" work?

: Sorry, but I agree with the collegaues here. In the world of finance, companies can "raise capital/funds". "Fund raising" (always singular) is what is done in order to help a charity for example.

Discussion
In corporate contexts you need to be careful with "fund raising" as it sounds pejorative. The "raising of capital/funds" (plural) is better. However, no clue how to phrase this one as we have no original language context.
