English term
PA shortage
English to German
Bus/Financial
Investment / Securities
Anlagephilosophie
So for our firm to have research capability, basically boots on the ground, in Europe, North America, and now Asia, we're only going to be stronger from a research perspective.
So there's a ***PA shortage*** in China right now.
Asia is highly integrated with the rest of the world, not just in terms of real economic linkages, but also in terms of the rotation of money across global financial markets.
Being native to Asia, we believe that we are also in a better position to interpret such events in the context of the economy and political realities in Asia.

"...We've had large wireless OEM customers say we would be taking more FPGAs if we had more power amplifiers. They've made that statement to us. And so, the whole notion that China Mobile claims they wanted to do a couple hundred thousand more base stations this year [...] It is a matter of when they are going to ship, the timing of that, when the allocation of power amplifiers increases, if it ever does, and we don't produce those"
<BR> http://www.tcl-ta.com/admin/documents/research/20141024-2618... S. 2: "For the 4Q14 outlook, management mentioned this is a traditionally peak season but highlighted that there could be possible component shortage on power amplifiers (PA)."
https://marketpeeper.files.wordpress.com/2008/01/bnp-2454tt-... ("We are disappointed at 4Q07 China grey (white-brand) handset market supply chain, which was disturbed by an earlier component shortage (PA, LCD, speakers shortage"; "However, China handset IC players believe that the inventory is likely to be absorbed in January Chinese new year demand; PA shortage has not been an issue since early December.")
