another possibility There is an outside possibility that it could stand for ??????Aerztekammer (???? medical society) but there should be an umlaut over the A if this is so. We don't have enough context to know what the F would stand for.

Forssman antibodies These are the antibodies that attack the infection mononucleosis Forssman antibodies of mono. I suspect this is the reference, given what he studied, as it falls in his specialty areas. Still need more info, though.

FAK can be filtration of an artificial kidney, first aid kit, focal adhesive kinase, and FA-K or FAk can refer to Forssman antibodies, and FAk can also be Forssman antibodies or fragment antibodies. More context needed.
