And here's the museum's page in FR, where they skirt the issue by not even translating the Italian term at all, seemingly thinking it is a proper name:

Note that the museum itself describes it as 'marquetry' -- I don't think the fine distinction mentioned in the FR Wiki article is usually made in EN, I have certainly always seen 'marquetry' used for what the FR article actually says is more properly called 'intarsio'.
