Japanese term

プロトコール治療中止規準

Japanese to English Medical Medical (general)
Can anyone shed some light on the term above? It is in the JCOG protocol manual and refers to the criteria for the termination of treatment protocol. I have 2 questions, first, I'd like to remain consistent with other translations of JCOG trials, so could any one indicate where I could find a previous tanslation of this, or would 'criteria for the termination of treatment protocols' be fine. Second, should it be treatment protocol or protocol treatment, which doesn't make sense to me? For further details on the context, please refer to 'JCOG プロトコールマニュアル version 2.4'

Many thanks.

criteria for discontinuation of protocol treatment

From the English included in the JCOG manual you liked to it seems likely to be "criteria for discontinuation of protocol treatment"

Since "判断基準" is translated as "decision criteria" (12.1) and "プロトコル治療中止" is translated as "discontinuation of protocol treatment" (11.3.5).

Protocol treatment just means the treatment described in the protocol.
