"List Context" So in a sense, the purpose of my menu is to list the context (the active objects) of the running session in the application.
We could then translate it as "Menu Liste de contexte", or just "Menu de contexte", what do you think ?

I am also puzzled To tell the truth, Tony, I am also quite puzzled. In addition to the user manual that I am currently translating (which clearly describes and shows this as what I would call a regular context menu that appears when right-clicking on the main toolbar of the application), I found the following link:

In the above link, it is indeed a context menu that appears when clicking on a list.
In my case, there is no such list.

Maybe the author of the manual (a non-native speaker) used an odd terminology. What do you think ? I would be inclined to translate this as "toolbar context menu" instead.

Context? Your reply to Gilles under his answer seems to suggest you have a clear enough idea of what this actually represents, so perhaps you could explain that for the rest of us, please?

I would have naturally interpreted this as a menu realting to the context for some list(s) or other — but I see Gilles is interpreting it as a 'contextual menu' for (a) list(s); I can certainly see how that could come about, but it would help to have your further input on this.
