Customer Service
It is a typical situation that you have to ask a customer for their patience because you are in the middle of consulting or serving another customer. Rather than tossing out a curt, “I’m busy right now”—which at the end of the day is a way of saying, “Why are you bothering me, can’t you see I’m busy?”—it is a more appropriate approach to turn the same situation around with a favorable wording, saying, “I’ll be with you in just a moment.”
