春季全国研究発表大会

Japanese to English Science General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters
This is a website that has the exact phrase and it is in fact related to my project.

However I don't see an official English translation... but it seems that there must be one somewhere out there...

Doesn't sound great, but apparently this is what they use. Personally, I would translate it the JASMIN Spring 2009 National Conference...

neutral pikachupichu : I would translate as The 2009 JASMIN Spring National Conference, per my experiences with the sports events naming, although the position of JASMIM and Year have to be decided by the client.
