decorative jewelry would be the string of pearls purchased at a department store and worn because it accents your dress, while narrative jewelry is a creation from the artist’s mind, soul, heart, and hands. It might be a piece that you look at and say, "That’s jewelry?1?" but it would most likely stir some sort of emotion in you.) I’ve decided that I’d like my work to be more blatantly narrative.
