The seismic processing was directed to extract and enhance the primary reflections. Other seismic waves like refracted waves, ground roll, air waves etc. should be wiped out in the data during processing. The refracted waves form the first break and cover the first successive arrivals. A top stretch mute of 30 % was applied to remove the re-fracted arrivals. They were removed by zeroing out, or muting, the seismic recording above this mute function.
