Explicatiile si sugestiile date sunt foarte bune.

Totusi, chiar daca intr-adevar intentia este de "a face economii, a se zgarci", pentru acest context special , as propune o traducere gen:
"In al treilea rand, nu va descalificati singur oferta prin neacordarea unui pret mai bun ..."

(Traducerea se bazeaza pe sensul sportiv al termenului : alergatorul - de cros, de ex - nu respecta parcursul, luand-o pe scurtatura ...)

multumesc Mihaela. Nu stiu nici eu exact cum se poate introduce, care e "tonul" general al textului dar practic asta spune: sa nu se faca lucrurile 'de mantuiala' :)
