I was suggested the following translation for "black comedy" - "hài kịch châm biếm".
Wikipedia says: Black comedy, also known as black humor, is a subgenre of comedy and satire where topics and events normally treated seriously - death, mass murder, sickness, madness, terror, drug abuse, et cetera - are treated in a humorous or satirical manner. Synonyms used to avoid racial overtones are dark comedy/humor, morbid comedy/humor and off-color humor.
Please advise if the suggested translation is OK.

In my opinion, "hài kịch châm biếm" is not relevant. This is a kind of comedy with the purpose of satire or criticsm. In fact, there may not be any tragic events or topics in the comedy. I consider the term "bi hài kịch" most relevant. It is widely used in Viet nam. There is an equivalent term in English :"tragicomedy" in which tragic events or topics are often treated in a humorous manner
