En un texto religioso, no logro entender el significado de "disruptive" en la siguiente frase:
"After the fall of man in Paradise, God did not change the basic laws of his creation, but instead added *disruptive* laws, such as when he cursed the ground because of Adam's disobedience......"
Tal vez sea un palabra no adecuada en el original..¿?

esto me haría pensar que se refiere a leyes que hicieron que se perdiera la unidad del hombre con Dios.
en cuanto a la traducción, probablemente sirviera "alternativas", que haciendo una tormenta de ideas con mi madre es la que surgió.
aunque "alternativas" no es una traducción literal de "disruptive", si Dios es bueno y su plan es bueno, no tendría sentido que Él hiciera leyes negativas. Parecen negativas desde nuestro punto de vista, pero son positivas desde un contexto más alto, o desde un nivel de conciencia más alto.

Considering "...such as when he cursed the ground because of Adam's disobedience", could it be that "disruptive" is used with the meaning of "caused by disruption"??? Usually it's the other way round, "causing disruption", but the word actually has both meanings, and "Adam's disobedience" is indeed a disruption.

que alteraron la armonía/causantes de distorsión o desequilibrio/que causaron conmoción
disrupt: bring or throw into disorder: causar distorsión. En este caso particular de un adjetivo (disruptive) creo que es mejor dar la idea con una frase relativa con que, de lo contrario, si bien la traducción puede quedar exacta, corremos el riesgo que no suene bien al oido y se note que se trata de una traducción.

Por lo que veo en el ejemplo que das, se trata de la ruptura de Dios con el hombre cuando el hombre peca, como también sucedió con el diluvio o los cuarenta años en el desierto, que fueron medidas que Dios tomó rompiendo el orden que existía entre Él y el hombre por culpa del pecado.
