What translation project are you working on right now?
Translating character dialog for a casual/detective mobile game, Russian-English. Trouble is, I can't play now, because I already know who committed the crime! 6,500 words. Currently halfway through editing the translation of a 200-page Russian book on ancient history and human evolution. Total word count so far this week is around 10,000, with 6,000 more to go. Just finished editing the first 10,000 words of the Russian-English translation of a new work of historical fiction. Learned some new things about ancient history! Bug testing in-game text for Story Games today. About 1.5 hours of work per chapter. Working on a Swiss tax return (from the Canton of Vaud). Learning some interesting vocabularly that's specific to Switzerland. 3,500 words. Time for some more linguistic bug testing for Story Games, the text-based adventure I work on as script editor. This is how we add the final polish to the text in-game! Editing game scripts for Story Games today. Fun text-based adventures as always. The app just got approved for iOS release! Just finished 12,000 words of academic documents - degree certificates, transcripts, and diplomas. Russian-English I finished writing another 4,000 words of SEO content for an ongoing visa services project. My total wordcount for that particular project is up tp 48,000 by now! to Summarizing a leaflet for the Phystech Union, an innovation initiative from the alumni of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. It's an interesting glimpse into the world of modern tech in Russia! ~2000 words of summary. Today's job is a translation summary of a number of Russian tax returns. ~1,500 words Translating 80 Russian nail art diplomas today, with a total of around 4,000 words. The art on the diplomas themselves is beautiful! Translating some birth certificates, diplomas, and marriage certificates today. Quick jobs, but with so many small details, it always pays to proofread thoroughly! ~500 words.
