English to Portuguese: Configuring HTTP Authentication/Configurar a Autenticação HTTP
General field: Tech/Engineering
Detailed field: IT (Information Technology)
Source text - English
HTTP authentication is sometimes referred to as Basic Authentication or Integrated Windows Authentication. Websites that use HTTP authentication will cause the browser to prompt for username and password in a dialog or to use cached credentials (such as those used when signing on to Windows). The username and password are included in the headers of the HTTP request sent to the web server. This occurs for every page in the website, and browsers generally will cache this information.

To add Multi-Factor Authentication to this type of website and not other web sites on the IIS web server, the Base URL of the website must be specified. The Base URL is the scheme (http or https), host (e.g. www.companyname.com), optional port, and optional path to the website. For example https://intranet.companyname.com:80/exchweb might be the Base URL for the company's Outlook Web Access website.

To configure HTTP Authentication:
1. From the Multi-Factor Authentication Server, click the IIS Authentication icon.
2. Select the HTTP tab.
3. Make your selections on the HTTP tab.

1. No Servidor Multi-Factor Authentication, clique no ícone Autenticação IIS.
2. Selecione o separador HTTP.
3. Selecione as suas opções no separador HTTP.
