Installing the Starter Toner Cartridge
1. Open the front cover.
2. Unpack the starter toner cartridge from its package and gently shake the cartridge from side-to-side 5 or 6 times to distribute the toner evenly inside the cartridge.
Thoroughly rolling the cartridge will assure maximum copies per cartridge.
NOTE: If toner comes into contact with your clothing, wipe the toner off with a dry cloth and wash your clothing in cold water. Hot water sets toner into fabric.
3. Pull the tape to remove the protective paper.
4. Locate the cartridge slots inside the printer, one on each side.
5. Unfold the toner cartridge handle and grasp it. Insert the cartridge into the printer until it snaps into place.
6. Close the front cover. Make sure that the cover is securely closed. If the cover is not firmly closed, printing errors may occur.

The Layout tab provides options for you to adjust how the document appears on the printed page. The Layout Options section includes advanced printing options, such as Multiple Pages per Side and Poster. See step 3 in “Printing a Document” for more information on accessing printer properties.

1. Abra a tampa frontal.
2. Retire o cartucho de toner inicial da embalagem e agite-o levemente 5 ou 6 vezes de um lado para o outro para garantir que o toner seja distribuído internamente por igual.
A ação de agitar o cartucho lhe permite obter o maior número de cópias por cartucho.
