Italian to English Social Sciences Surveying
Hi there,
I'm having problems with this term.
I found it in an EU document translated like "disaggregated by" I wanted to know if is the right word, or breakdowns would do better.

My context is a survey on foreign nationals registered in Italy.

Your context is no help, as it's a badly translated English document that doesn't contain the word "disaggregazione". But this is almost certainly what it means. To disaggregate something is to break it down into smaller units.
Note from asker:
I've checked with Google result statistics and "disaggregated data" suits better in my context.
