Before saying this is too simple a question, please read the background: the client wants to clearly distinguish between "production des données" (by the accounting department), "préparation du rapport" (other preparatory work and studies contributing to it), and "constitution du rapport" (putting it all together). They (French speakers) prefer the term "assembling" the report, which does not sound that great to me. Any ideas? Thanks. :)
