In any event, I think this is a play on the idea "return on investment".
A return on image intended as profiting from a good image.

I like the Italian expression; it is a 'return on', as your other correspondent writes, like return on investment but rather than 'return on image' which tells me very little, I would have to say a 'return on the effort made in the image department' or something like that. Rather too long. The Italian is nicely compact. Just a thort...

or something along those lines. Of course you can play around with options for the words "result", "heightened" and "corporate" depending on the overall context and style.
