Italian term or phrase: con i limiti
I am struggling to phrase the term in brackets. The meaning is clear - the radiologist is saying there appears to be no bleeding as far as this particular imaging technique is able to show. Is there a neat way of putting this?

"Area di iperdensità [...], possibile espressione di versamento ematico, senza evidenti segni di sanguinamento attivo, ***con i limiti della tecnica di acquisizione***."

I did find the following link: "Current state-of-the-art imaging techniques can provide quantitative information to characterize ventricular function ***within the limits*** of the spatiotemporal resolution achievable in a realistic acquisition time." Could something like this work? Or "finding to be interpreted within the limits of the imaging technique"?

Tough one to grade, this. I went with texjax's answer in this instance because the text flowed better, however I went with "given the limits" in another example of the term. I would have awarded points to both; sadly it's not possible. Thank you everyone for your input - much appreciated as always!

agree  Gilberto Lacchia: yes; the radiologist suggests a diagnosis, but one must always take into account that each imaging technique has its limitations.
