Dear everyone,
Have any of one already taken NATO translation test for Translator positions at the International Secretariat ? I'd be glad to hear all your experiences, relevant information or tips (what level of (military) technicity ? etc.).
Many thanks for your insights !
L.

Interpreting or translation? While they enroll civilian staff, NSPA and external candidates, different Anti--Oops!--Non-government (foreign) organizations are rarely of direct interest. Providing you've got relevant military training and exp, a cover letter (references), a detailed (with possible explanations) CV, and a standard application form should do to get the interview invitation.

The variety of topics is covered in the non-classified & non-military terminology, so you could quick-assess the skills. As for interpreting, just find any NATO-OTAN video and make it your own way, checking the official translation.

If you're seriously into this mess, then try searching LinkedIn and FB too.
