This is a non-logged-in visitor, so we're unlikely to get any response to requests for more information.
The meaning is easy to find, but the translation is impossible without knowing the context.

One possibility is 'six of one and half a dozen of the other'.
Simone Taylor May 10:
Depende do contexto Cada contexto vai exigir uma resposta diferente, há várias expressões que poderiam se encaixar, middle-of-the-road, on the fence, depende. Pode ser makes no difference to me, nothing special, qual a frase completa?

nothing to write home about

Sugestão. Dependendo do contexto, pode ser algo como fulano/coisa “is nothing special” ou até “middle-of-the-road”, no sentido de “sem graça” , “insípido”.

neutral philgoddard : Your reference contains four completely different translations. As you say, it depends on the context.

Exactly! As we said, it depends on the context, but since our colleague asked for something idiomatic, that was my suggestion. Thanks for commenting!

Portuguese term (edited): It doesn't matter.

Nao fede, nem cheira.

It means that I don't have a strong opinion about it.
Either way is fine.
Example sentence:

Either way is fine.

It does not matter to me.

is neither here, nor there, so not worth making a stink about

(fig.) to be wishy-washy, Collins.

Otherwise, reflects the double negative, plus the smell / stink metaphor.
Example sentence:

Now this is worth making a stink about.

If you say that something is neither here nor there, you mean that it does not matter because it is not a relevant point.
